MANTEIGAS, Guarda, POSTCARD

A Vila de Manteigas é sede do município, pertencente ao Distrito da Guarda.
O município de Manteigas é limitado a noroeste pelo município de Gouveia, a leste pela Guarda, a sueste pela Covilhã e a oeste por Seia.
Manteigas é, juntamente com Covilhã e Seia, um dos concelhos que partilham o ponto mais elevado de Portugal Continental (a Torre da Serra da Estrela).

The Manteigas town is county seat, belonging to the Guard District.
The Manteigas municipality is limited to the northwest Gouveia district, to the east by Guard, southeast and west by Covilha and Seia.
Manteigas is, along with Covilhã and Seia, one of the municipalities that share the highest point in mainland Portugal,
Serra da Estrela, tower.
