Nesebar is an ancient city on the coast of the Black Sea in Bulgaria. Nesebar is commonly referred to as the "Pearl of the Black Sea", The old city of Nesebar consists of two parts, the old part shows evidence of occupation by a variety of different civilisations over the course of its existence. The newer part of Nesebar consists of hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops.

Since 1983 Nesebar has been listed by UNSECO on the list of World Heritage Sites. The old town of Nesebar has a population of around 12,000 inhabitants.
