Day to Day Plan for Lisbon:
You guys can plan 4 days in Lisbon to cover the essentials in following way.
Day 1) Downtown: You can just walk in the downtown, alone or take the walking tour or take a tour package of TUK TUK to know more about the history.
Tip: If you want to save cost for next days, skip TUK TUK tour and WALK.

Day 2) Alfama: is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tejo river. Its name comes from the Arabic Al-hamma (الحَمّة), meaning "hot fountains" or "baths".
Tip: Don’t take tours of alfama, you just can go on Uber there. Uber is Lisbon is way cheaper than TUK TUK and other tourist rides. Once you reach there, you just walk & cover the whole area. Find out more on link below.

Day 3) Sintra: is a resort town in the foothills of Portugal’s Sintra Mountains. It’s a longtime royal palace that looks like a fantasy but it’s a real Disneyland. It’s a bit far from Lisbon, 40 min to one hour it can take depending on how you are going.
Tips: Once you reach there, do not walk as its very hilly and it takes long to reach at the top. So better take bus or tuk tuk to reach at the palace. In the palace you will need to buy ticket for both interior and exterior of the palace.

Day 4) Golden Gate & Belem Tower: They are very close, so you can cover both in one day. Golden gate is red bridge and a replica of the one in San Francisco. Belem tower has lot of historical stories of defence of this ancient city.
Tip: You can skip the tours, tickets inside the belem tour to avoid the long queue and waste of time. You just can walk the entire area or hire a scooty covering belem tower and golden gate.
