*Surprisingly it is more like a dessert thana green nature .
* It is a high rocky mountain, and the access to the sea is very rocky and difficult.
* Portugal has a law that prohibits private beaches. Please make sure to select a hotel that has admission to the ocean, because some don't. Normally it’s not easy to go to your hotel beach because of the Algarve topography. This does not mean that you can not swim in the sea, You can if you take a cruise and sail in the ocean. Or maybe you can go to a secluded beach for more privacy .
If you are going during the season, make sure to book months in advance so that you can get the hotel you have in mind.

The Algarve has several municipalities, villages, and towns, and each has a small center with a public coast and stores. We lived in Carvoeiro.

* There is a large investment in hotels in Algarve, you would appreciate the architecture, design, details, and restaurants in each hotel, whether for families or couples.

This hotel is one of the most elegant high end hotel. No visitors allowed. Suitable for honeymooners.

*Quinta dos santos farm Restaurant
Loved it as we stepped into the entrance with a view overlooking the farm, Not to forget the Presentation and quality of food .

Lagos is the best and largest shopping area. There are 2 or 3 stores worth visiting.

Distances between each area are around 30 minutes to an hour.
