Hey guys, so you’re looking for holiday inspiration to Portugal ????????? Well watch the video to see what we did. This video was made in May 2023 and the weather was 29 degrees celsius (lucky us). Our stay was in Albufeira and we stayed at the Nau Salgados Palm Village which is a Golf Resort. We was really impressed with the size of the rooms, it had a big spacious balcony and the food was also decent. There is a mini club to keep all kids busy throughout day, and not forgetting the vollyball court, outdoor gym and crazy mini golf for all.
Our base was at the Salgados Palm Village and we took day trips using taxis to the nearest beaches which were pretty awesome to be honest with such beautiful golden sand beaches with awesome cliff edge scenery. We used Uber Taxis to get around and booked all our rides through the Uber app, we found Uber is cheaper than the local taxis and alot quicker and convenient compared to public transport such as buses.
We first headed to the area of Vilamoura, a lovely seafront Marine with many shops and restaurants to dine at. There’s also beaches on either side of the Marine so you’re spoilt for choice.
Don’t forget to visit the Roman Ruins Museum which is just up the road as you exit the Marine.
Our next trip was to the town of Albufeira, we headed to the old town for some shopping, spent the day at the beach and ate food on the sea front. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants to chose from and the prices are reasonable. There is happy hour on drinks at the majority of places.
Sun beds can be hired on the beaches starting from €7 per person and the parasol is charged separately at €7 aswell.
Finally we went to a small town called Falesia and we headed to the beach, explored the small shopping centre and had some delicious food. Falesia is very picturesque and has some amazing cliff top views.
We hope you have a wonderful time when visiting Portugal, as its highly recommended.
Got any questions then just ask in the comments and I will help out as much as I can.
