Faro Airport / Aeroporto Internacional de Faro, also known as Algarve Airport, is located 4 km (2.5 mi) to the west of Faro in Portugal. The airport opened in July 1965. This film features views of aircraft approaching and landing at Faro Airport, filmed from around Faro Marina, as well as zoomed shots of aircraft taking off from Faro Airport. The film also features footage of the airport apron taken from the terminal building, and also a bus, which is en-route to a parked aircraft.

The majority of aircraft featured in the film are Boeing 737 and Airbus A319, A320 and A321 variants from short-haul European airports. Airlines featured within the film include Ryanair, Monarch, Thomson, Transavia, Jet2, Aer Lingus, TAP Portugal, and EasyJet.
