Secret beach inside cave - aerial view @Algar - Benagil (Portugal)

Um Algar é uma cavidade natural formada pela erosão do vento e da água. Este especificamente chama-se Algar de Benagil.
Existe uma grande abertura natural no topo que permite a entrada da luz do sol e o acesso é feito exclusivamente pelo mar.
Nesta viagem entrámos no algar pelo sítio mais improvável, pela abertura no tecto da gruta.
É uma paisagem invulgar de rara beleza que se assemelha a uma catedral escondida sob os rochedos, onde apenas se ouve o cantar do mar e se vê o foco de luz vindo da enorme abertura no tecto, dando vida á praia que se encontra escondida no seu interior.

An Algar is a natural cavity formed by wind and water erosion. This one specifically is called Algar of Benagil.
There is a large natural opening at the top that allows the entry of sunlight and is accessible only by sea.
On this trip we entered the cave by the most unlikely place, the opening in the roof.
It is an unusual landscape of rare beauty that resembles a hidden cathedral under the rocks,
where we only hear the singing of the sea and see the spotlight coming from the huge opening in the ceiling, giving life to the beach which is hidden inside the cave.
