This is the first day of our 3-day Lisbon adventure.
So when we arrived in Lisbon airport, we took a taxi to our hotel (the fare was not so bad compared to how much it is in Dublin)
Stayed at the IBIS hotel in Saldanha ( https://goo.gl/maps/PfHKpffEemt ). Left our bags, and decide to stroll around for a bit since we arrived quite early and can’t check in yet.
As usual stomach first before anything else, so we took the metro to Restauradores and we tried to eat in this restaurant called Sol Dourado. ( https://goo.gl/maps/9sFJYLRVCL32 ) Overall, seafood was great! really enjoyed it.!
Then we walked further and searched for Elevador de Santa Justa ( https://goo.gl/maps/XqRD1cqiPR72 ) where we saw a very long queue (line) just to take the lift and its not free either. So we contemplated, until someone from a small shop across the lift approached us and told us we can take the lift in their shop to go there. So hurrah..!! shop has no name but here’s the location on map: https://goo.gl/maps/JXjThzV28Do . its literally right across where the attraction is, if you follow my video. P.S. wear good shoes when in Lisbon, its a hilly city.
After that, went back to the hotel, rested for a bit and then I woke up with this massive headache that I was trying to bear until the day ends which didn’t go so well. Anyway, we went to Castelo de S. Jorge (https://goo.gl/maps/BShi4yrs8UF2 ) and the view here was spectacular. It was a perfect timing for us because the sun was setting and the place looked magical.
Headache was not going away, got worse, tried to look for food cause I was think maybe I’m just hungry and it might help alleviate it. Found a small tart shop don’t know the location. Walked towards Comércio Square (https://goo.gl/maps/kndLeimjJmo) and then on to Time Out Market (https://goo.gl/maps/nCACUkkGupE2 ) which was great because there was plenty of food. However, the amount of people in that place and the crowded environment didn’t help my headache at all, I suddenly started to get cold sweats until I ran for the bathroom and threw up constantly. Not sure what caused it all but by the time we got back to the hotel i felt a lot better. Had to end the vlog abruptly. Rested early which helped because the next day was a very magical day for castles.
The next vlog is more adventures of our Lisbon adventures, so stay tune for that.
Credits to everyone who made this trip happen and were cool enough to be on my vlogs.
