1 Festival Dragons et Lanternes Holds a Press Conference in Paris and Ticket Sales officially open; 60 Light Installations and Over 2000 Colourful Lanterns are About to Illuminate Paris

Yu Garden Lantern Festival, a showcase of Shanghai's urban charm and a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage project, is set to make its debut and step into the Jardin d’Acclamatation in Paris. The French edition of the Yu Garden Lantern Festival, known as ‘Festival Dragons et Lanternes’, has been designated as part of the opening festivities celebrating the 60th anniversary of China France diplomatic relations and China France year of Culture and Tourism. It is also poised to be a highlight in the 'exquisite' series of events during the bilateral cooperation between China and France in 2024.
On November 29th, Festival Dragons et Lanternes held a press conference in Jardin d’Acclamatation, the site of the lantern festival in Paris, nearly 50 mainstream French media outlets, as well as overseas branches of Chinese state media, and local Chinese-language media, attended the event. The lantern festival in Paris has attracted significant attention from the media, in France, China and beyond.
The Lantern Festival at Jardin d’Acclamatation has officially commenced ticket sales, with both online and offline ticketing channels available. After the completion of the production of 60 magnificent light installations and over 2000 colorful lanterns in China, they are being assembled and set up in Paris. The official opening to public is scheduled on the December 15th. In January 2024, the Yu Garden Lantern Festival in Shanghai, China, will also be officially illuminated, coordinating with the French edition to jointly celebrate the "Chinese New Year."


2 The first mile! The First Pujiang Biopharmaceutical Original Innovation Forum was successfully held
The first Pujiang Biopharmaceutical Original Innovation Forum (BOIF), was successfully held on December 2, this forum, BOIF, is hosted by the China Pharmaceutical Innovation & Research Development Association (PhIRDA), and the Shanghai Biopharmaceutics Industry Association and Fosun Pharma, was held in Zhangjiang, Shanghai. More than 200 representatives from government, industry, university, research and medical resources gathered together to discuss the development of biomedicine.
Guo Guangchang, chairman of Fosun International delivered a speech at the forum,
“Biopharmaceutical innovation must pay full attention to the domestic and international markets, starting from the needs of patients, on the one hand, increasing the capacity of independent innovation, on the other hand, actively carrying out cooperation, including government-enterprise cooperation, global innovative enterprise cooperation, and establishing global resource integration capabilities. Chen Qiyu, vice president of PhIRDA and executive director & co-CEO of Fosun International, made a concluding speech, believing that original innovation is the right time. 3 Morningstar Sustainalytics ranked Fidelidade as the second-best insurance company in Europe
On December 3rd, Morningstar Sustainalytics ranked Fidelidade as the second-best insurance company in Europe, the fourth-best insurance company globally and the second-best company in Portugal regarding sustainability. Fidelidade received a rating of 11.7, which places it in second place in the ranking of the best European insurance companies and fourth in the world ranking. In Portugal, this high rating places Fidelidade as the best institution in the banking and insurance sector and the second most sustainable Portuguese company, considering all sectors of economic activity.

4. Millennium bcp’s ESG commitment: 3 photovoltaic micro centers’ installations completed recently
Following Millennium bcp ESG policies, energy transition process is one of the commitments made with the market. Recently, Millennium bcp have begun a process of installing photovoltaic micro centers in branches, having already completed 3 installations (Charneca, Santarém and Albufeira), out of a total of 8 planned. The performance of these power plants, depending on the number of photovoltaic panels that can be installed, will result in a reduction in the energy bill between 10% and 30%. The respective plants is estimated have the ability to avoid Co2 emissions in between 4(t) and 10(t).
