Tour of the Protur Floriana resort in Cala Bona, Mallorca.
A Hotel with an all inclusive option, generous with the measures and decent beer on tap. The wine (Red & White) were average and unlimited soft drinks.

Great selection of Ice Creams too.
The Food! Although there was something all of us ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the food wasn't as good as some of the other A.I Hotels that we have visited in Mallorca. However, omelette at breakfast (bit of a queue) was decent, the pasta at lunch and some meats and fish for dinner.

Each night was a theme night, the Indian night had nice butter chicken curry.
I wouldn't say the food is bad, just not as good as some places.

Swings and roundabouts, as this hotel was better for the drinks and ice creams than most. Big glasses for beer and spirits, they did not scrimp on the measures, you didn't need one of those silly drinks holders as the cups were a decent size. Paper Cups and Glass available.

The kids also said the kids club and mini disco / night time entertainment was better here than other places. There are a couple of pool tables, a table tennis set up, a volleyball court, tennis courts and a football pitch. The football was popular at night, but its a solid surface and there were a few casualties.

What I found remarkable was that there were no 10 minute queues for drinks at night. efficient bar staff. friendly too. As a family we enjoyed the night time more than at other resorts.

Room was modern and clean. Air con was average, but it was 35 degrees out. That could be improved. Maybe its better in the new blocks.
We stayed in Block E, which was quiet and central.
New Blocks are H, I, J, K, F & G.
Blocks closest to the Adult Pool and Restaurant are A, B, C & D.

2 x Bars Open during the day.
Cant remember the food times, all served in the main restaurant.
It would be rare not to have food when you needed it. No big silly queues waiting at the door for the place to open. It was relaxed.
As was the sunbed situation by the pool areas, of which there are 3.

Short walk to the beach (5 mins - past the cats), a range of bars showing live sport and with live music. £2.50 a pint of Amstel in most places. £4.50 a large bottle of Magners. There is a sports bar a Bristol guy runs that shows games and sports like F1 etc.. Friendly place. Plus a 60's disco bar.
None of them have sound on the games if there is music on.

Decent Indian at the Marina, Tandoori Night.
Smithys a few doors up did a nice steak.
Stanleys did a nice lunch, and was always busy.

Usually bikes to hire, family 4 seaters. Cala Millor a short ride away. Full of cycle paths that you need to have your wits about you.
