To get to these caves, you can take a sailing ship out of Lagos and it's a few miles along the coast. You disembark onto a small boat that carries about 8 people and is small enough to get into the caves and grottos. Then the boat returns to the ship and you go back to Lagos, having been seasoned by sailing under a Portuguese flag.
